Happy birthday Ma! The PHP 7.2 tutorial is completed as of today.

We are currently working on three tutorials, and it's mudding up the waters. We are going to downshift and start one at a time. Right now, we've templated MariaDB, PHP 7.2, and our Simple PHP Authentication System w/ Email Verification. We have about .2% of MariaDB completed, .4% of PHP 7.2 completed, and only about 6.4% of our Authentication System at this time. Because of the loss in productivity, we will be shifting gears. Our new plan of action is to get the Installation of PHP 7.2 tutorial completed, then MariaDB, followed by the one that is more of a passion than a requirement to follow along.

The Basic Apache HTTP Web Server Setup up tutorial has been completed. You can check it out here. After setting up a basic HTTP server, your first step should be setting up SSL certificates, using LetsEncrypt, or other solutions if you have the knowledge to get them up and going. LetsEncrypt provides a simple solution, which is why we suggest it. On top of simplicity, it is also cost effective, weighing in at a negligable $0.00 USD per certificate.

We are currently working on an Ubuntu beginers guide, which will outline getting a machine up and running using Ubuntu. Where to find the software. How to verify that it is the software built by the developer, one thats not been altered by third parties or tampered with. How to create the boot media to get your machine to boot into an enviroment suitable to perform operations on your hard drive. How to use the boot media. A step by step guide walking you through the graphical installer that comes baked into Ubuntu nowadays. Some first steps to customize and secure your system after getting Ubuntu installed. How to use the Desktop UI, and finally how to log off or shut down your device. Granted this tutorial is truly aimed at the newer users in our community. Should you be a disk formatting ninja, and don't need our guidance, feel free to start on the next steps. Otherwise we look forward to helping you through your next installation of Ubuntu 18.04.2
Check out our tutorial to Install Ubuntu 18.04.2 here. (Still in progress)
